Just like most of the larger Manor houses in Midnight Village, Seymour Manor is covered with dark legends about death and ghosts.
Owned by rich and powerful families whose names were muddled down by the passing of time, Seymour Manor had a very precise legend; it is said, that the manor house was built to accommodate a rich, newly wed couple. The great manor was constructed with haste by a hundred masons, carpenters and other artisans in just one day.
In the midst of the construction, scaffolding gave way, burying a hundred workers on the first floor. No time to pick up casualties, the two families who conducted the construction ordered to pour cement over the bodies of those who died.
The great manor house was finished and painted just before dawn, and the wedding had a lavish reception in the said house.
After that, things were not so smooth for the newly weds and their parents; haunted by the ghosts of those who died, the families suffered heavily from the vengeful spooks.
Day after day, night after night, the families were plagued with nightmarish visions, heart bursting anxieties and soon, most of the family members committed suicides. Others went mad and murdered their own kin.
The newly weds were not spared; the wife was chased by ghastly pursuers until she fell down over the balcony and died. Upon seeing this, her husband was seized by an overpowering grief to the point of madness.
It was said that the husband was toyed around by the vengeful ghosts and in the process, died in abject insanity.
Seymour Manor now stands as a large, decomposing tomb of the families and those who had perished in its construction. Today, the dark, foreboding structure serves as refuge for haunting ghosts that roams around its vast premises.

Parsley Manor

Just like most of the larger manor houses in Midnight Village, The Parsley Manor is a structure filled with legends.

Resting within vast hectares of abandoned, idle land, the identity of the people who owned Parsley Manor is muddled by the passing of time.

There are however, legends atop legends; the great house was once the stuff of parties and good time for its residents. Night after night, the rich danced, played, sing and ate.

Beneath this many splendor house are dimmed catacombs said to contain the remains of dead clan enemies, rivals and opponents.
An underground grotto lined with rooms comprising varied torture instruments; a large harem, now rotting from the onslaught of nature and elements, said to feature a dark and dank passage way, where bodies of dead female participants were thrown away like rubbish.

Nowadays, the decaying hulk of Parsley Manor is all of what was left of its wicked splendor. At night, the looming dark structure serves as a haven for ghosts and other roving phantoms…Others even speculated that the haunting ghosts were those who died from the owner’s wanton pleasures…

A lonely town, labeled as “Midnight Village”…

There was once a town called “Morning Bloom” that was suddenly engulfed by a strange, super natural onslaught.
“Morning Bloom” was a town of farmers, miners and wealthy land owners: Rich party people who never had any care for the world. Now the town becomes a vast area of neglect and decay; mansions and manor houses turned into decomposing hulks of disrepair, known to harbor ghosts and other mysterious night creatures.
Nobody knew what had happened to the original inhabitants of “Morning Bloom”; there were those who speculated that some miner may have unearthed a cursed object, buried deep by local natives in that area.
Others concluded that the inhabitants of “Morning Bloom” had paid the price for their capricious lifestyles.
No one really knows…Up to this day, the remains of “Morning Bloom” (Now aptly called “Midnight Village”) stands isolated from the outside world and people from neighboring towns continues to give their stern warnings to stay out of the place…

I admit, I got scared so easily. Yet sometimes scary things inspire me to do experiments on my 3D programs. From this I created this “blog”:
“Midnight Village” is a compilation of horror tales based on old, ghastly rumors when I was just a kid. It is also a kind of cyber-portfolio of 3D images that I created pertaining to ghosts, phantoms and other supernatural objects.
The stories were presented in a documentary-type to enhance the ambiance of the subject matter.
